Atlas of Yiddish Place Names

An upcoming project in addition to the dictionary is the atlas of Yiddish place names. Google Maps has been chosen as the platform for this undertaking considering its relative ease of adding new locations.

The atlas has been developed and will be published online shortly. An exemplary attachment illustrating the use and appearance of our atlas can be found below. Every location on the map will have a bibliography, and the atlas will have thematic layers and a helpful search function to move about.
